2011 EPA Mileage Guide Available
The 2011 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Fuel Economy Guide is available for download and print at http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/FEG2000.htm or can be downloaded by clicking HERE. While dealers must still display the guide and provide copies to customers upon request, there is no need to stockpile paper versions. As a suggestion, you may label one copy “For Display Only” for the showroom and print another copy, if requested.
As a reminder, the EPA has revised its methods for estimating mileage estimates using real-world driving conditions. Beginning with the 2008 model year vehicles, city and highway estimates will account for conditions such as higher speeds and faster accelerations, air conditioning use and cold temperature operation. Further details of the formula for determining gas mileage ratings are available at www.epa.gov/fueleconomy.
