Your Association recently hosted a seminar to address how dealers will be affected by the Health care reform mandates, pursuant to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“PPACA”) of 2010.  If you missed this important seminar, you can now view the session “Health Care Reform & Your Dealership – What the new health care and health insurance legislation means to you” online at www.gcada.org. Note that a gcada.org username and password is required. If you do not have a gcada.org account you may create one before accessing the video. 

GCADA Members:

2. After entering your gcada.org username and password you will be directed to the video access page. 
3. After clicking the Submit Order button you will be directed to the Health Care Video page where you can immediately view the Health Care Reform Video. An email will also be sent to you containing your username, password and a link to the videos for future viewing.
4. The GCADA Member price for this online seminar is $15 (note: if you attended the class in person you will not be charged to view the video online). An invoice will be sent to your dealership after clicking the Submit Order button

Health Care & Health Insurance Regulation mandates will be implemented in a number of phases. The first phase are changes that take place after September 23, 2010 and on January 1, 2011. The GCADA seminar outlined the changes that the GCADA Group Health Plan and GCADA Member Dealers must make, when they are effective, our recommendations for how to comply with those changes, as well as discussed a number of issues that will be important to member dealers.
