Ride-N-Drives Return to the Cleveland Auto Show

Cleveland, OH (February 13, 2015) – Attendees will again have the chance to get behind the wheel of a wide selection of sedans, crossovers, SUVs and trucks from an array of different brands. The 2015 Cleveland Auto Show, presented by AutoTrader.com, opens to the public on Saturday, March 7. This year’s lineup includes Ride-N-Drive events from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Kia, Mazda, Subaru and Toyota. In addition, Ford will host a Ride-N-Drive event for the very first time.

“There is no better way to evaluate a vehicle than to take it out on the road,” says Louis A. Vitantonio, president of the Cleveland Auto Show. “The concept was pioneered by the Cleveland Auto Show, and the Ride-N-Drives have become one of the most popular attractions at the Show.”

The Cleveland Auto Show is able to offer Ride-N-Drive events due to the unique facility we have in the I-X Center. Most cities simply don’t have a venue or grounds large enough to host these kinds of events.

“Manufacturers realize that Ride-N-Drives represent an excellent chance for show attendees to compare vehicles while at the Show,” says Vitantonio. “Once you have narrowed down your decision, it’s also important to head out to a dealership to do a more comprehensive test drive, where you can get into even more detail on the features of the vehicle. While the Cleveland Auto Show has factory-trained product specialists and local sales consultants on hand to point out distinguishing features of each vehicle, the experts at a dealership can take their time and answer your questions, as well as advise on financing.”

In addition to the Ride-N-Drives from ten different brands, show attendees will also be able to experience the capabilities of Jeeps and Ram Trucks without leaving the building. Camp Jeep and the Ram Truck Indoor Test Track are both returning this year, offering attendees the chance to ride along as skilled drivers put the vehicles through their paces over obstacles that test vehicle articulation, ground clearance, maneuverability and traction. They will also get some advice from drivers on how to negotiate off-road challenges such as steep grades, rocky trails and log crossings.

The Cleveland Auto Show runs from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday March 15 at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free. Parking is free for the duration of the Show, courtesy of your franchised new motor vehicle dealers.

The Cleveland Auto Show is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you would like more information on the Show or the different Ride-N-Drive events, including a listing of the vehicles that will be available, simply visit www.clevelandautoshow.com. While at the site, you can purchase e-tickets with no convenience charge courtesy of Huntington Bank, by simply clicking on “Buy Tickets.”
