Cleveland Auto Show Selects
Official Vehicles of the Show

Cleveland, OH (February 18, 2015) – The 2015 Hyundai Sonata and the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe have been selected as the Official Vehicles of the 2015 Cleveland Auto Show, and provided by the Northeast Ohio Hyundai Dealers.

“We’re proud to select the 2015 Hyundai Sonata and the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe as the Official Vehicles of the Show,” says Cleveland Auto Show President Louis A. Vitantonio. “The Sonata is an excellent family sedan, with great styling and performance. The Santa Fe crossover is also a fantastic family vehicle that has a lot of new enhancements for the 2015 model year.”

Now in its seventh generation, the 2015 Hyundai Sonata lineup offers a more refined, yet fluid look. It has a stiffer body structure that improves ride quality, while reducing outside noise inside the cabin.

The 2015 Sonata lineup is available in three different trim levels: Sport, SE and Limited. SE and Limited trims are powered by a revised 2.4-liter engine that puts out 185 horsepower. Step up to the Sport, and you’ll find a 2.0-liter turbocharged four producing 245 horsepower under the hood. Even though it’s very affordable, the new 2015 Sonata offers a host of available safety features usually only found on luxury sedans, including forward collision warning, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, and a lane departure warning system.

For its part, the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe lineup is available in front- or all-wheel drives, with seating options for five, six or seven passengers. Both the Santa Fe and its higher-powered sibling the Santa Fe Sport have a new electric power steering system. This system retains Hyundai’s Driver Selectable Steering mode with a “sport” setting, and features a 32-bit microprocessor that delivers a refined steering feel.

The Santa Fe lineup is powered by three different engines, which include an efficient 2.4-liter four cylinder, a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and the acclaimed 3.3-liter Lambda II V6. All Santa Fe engines use direct gas injection and dual continuously variable valve timing. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard.

Visitors to this year’s Cleveland Auto Show are encouraged to register to win a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, also selected as the Official Giveaway Vehicle of the 2015 Cleveland Auto Show. To win, simply register at the Official Vehicle Giveaway booth during any day of the Show. Mail-in entries are accepted at: Auto Show Official Car Giveaway; 10100 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, 44141 beginning March 1.

Each day of the show, one finalist will be chosen and invited back on Sunday, March 15. Each of the finalists will then be given a key. The finalist with the key that opens the door to the 2015 Sonata takes it home as the Grand Prize.

In addition to the Official Vehicle Giveaway, one lucky First Place winner will also be selected to win one year’s worth of natural gas for the home or the cash value of $2,000, courtesy of IGS Energy.

The Cleveland Auto Show runs from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday March 15 at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free. Parking is free for the duration of the Show, courtesy of your franchised new motor vehicle dealers.
