GCADA Names New Executive Committee for 2016

Cleveland, OH (December 9, 2015)
– The Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association (GCADA) has named a new Executive Committee for 2016. The announcement was made by Louis A. Vitantonio, Jr., President of the GCADA, at the organization’s recent board meeting.

As a part of the new committee for 2016, Chuck Gile, president of Motorcars Honda and Motorcars Toyota in Cleveland Heights, steps down as 2015 Chairman of the GCADA and becomes Chairman of the 2016 Cleveland Auto Show. Ken Ganley, President of the Ganley Auto Group, becomes the new Chairman of the GCADA for 2016. Vitantonio, who was named President of the GCADA in 2010 and has served with the organization for more than 20 years, will continue to serve as President.

“I would especially like to thank Chuck Gile for his commitment and hard work this past year,” Vitantonio said. “I also want to applaud the hard work in the past year of both the GCADA Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. They have made our association stronger than it has ever been in our 100 year history.”

In August, the GCADA celebrated its 100th Anniversary. The organization, which provides support and acts as an advocate for its member dealers, is also a pivotal point for dealer charitable efforts. Last year, the GCADA contributed more than $175,000 for scholarships, post secondary education and apprenticeship programs. The GCADA also supports many businesses and organizations that provide valuable services to its member dealers.

Robert Morris, Dealer Principal of Morris Cadillac Buick GMC steps up from 2nd Vice Chairman to 1st Vice Chairman of the GCADA. David Waikem of the Waikem Auto Group moves up from Treasurer to 2nd Vice Chairman. Kevin Joyce of Joyce Buick GMC, the GCADA Executive Committee’s newest member, begins his duties as Treasurer of the organization.
