Cleveland Auto Show Announces Official
Vehicle Giveaway

February 8, 2016 – If you’re selected as a finalist in the Official Vehicle Giveaway Contest at the 2016 Cleveland Auto Show, you’ll have two chances to win. The Cleveland Auto Show, Northern Ohio Honda Dealers and Toyota have announced that this year’s finalists of the Official Vehicle Giveaway Contest will be able to win a two-year lease of either a 2016 Honda Civic or a 2016 Toyota Tacoma—the Official Car and Truck of the Cleveland Auto Show. Both vehicles will be given away.

“The Toyota Tacoma and the Honda Civic are the premier vehicles in their respective lineups,” says Chuck Gile, chairman of the 2016 Cleveland Auto Show, and owner and dealer principal of Motorcars Honda and Motorcars Toyota in Cleveland Heights. “The 2016 Civic has been receiving accolades since its introduction, including its recent selection as the North American Car of the Year. As America’s best selling mid-sized truck for ten years running, the 2016 Tacoma has also won its fair share of awards, and is the toughest, most durable pickup in its segment.”

The 2016 Tacoma has been totally redesigned inside and out. The lineup offers two powertrains: a 2.7-liter dual overhead cam engine that produces 159 horsepower or a V6 that produces 278 horsepower, 42 horses more than the previous generation. Offering impressive off-road capability, the redesigned Tacoma also sports an aggressive upper grille and taller, more muscular hood.

Selected as the North American Car of the Year at the recent North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the 2016 Honda Civic features a new vehicle architecture, new styling inside and out and new powertrain offerings. It’s the second time that this sedan, considered the cornerstone of the Honda lineup, has been selected as the North American Car of the Year.

To win a chance for a two-year lease of either vehicle, all you have to do is register at the Official Vehicle Giveaway booth during any day of the Cleveland Auto Show. Mail-in entries are accepted, too. Please send mail in entries to: Auto Show Official Car Giveaway; 10100 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, 44141.

Each day of the show, one finalist will be chosen and invited back on Sunday, March 6. Each of the finalists will then be given two keys. The finalist with the key that opens the door to either vehicle wins a two-year lease of that vehicle. See official rules at clevelandautoshow.com.

The Cleveland Auto Show opens its doors on Friday evening, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday, March 6. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free. Parking is free for the duration of the Show, courtesy of your franchised new motor vehicle dealers.

Show hours are: from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. the first Friday evening; from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
