Enjoy Family Day at
the Cleveland Auto Show

Cleveland, OH (February 17, 2017) – The Cleveland Auto Show, presented by AutoTrader.com, has always been a great place to take the whole family out for a day of fun. It’s also one of the best values in Northern Ohio for your family entertainment dollar. But if you really want to save, head out to the Auto Show on Monday, Feb. 27. It’s Family Day, presented by Medical Mutual, when children 15 and under get in for free.

Show hours on Family Day run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“This year, there’s more for families to see and do than ever before,” says Ken Ganley, chairman of the Cleveland Auto Show and president of the Ganley Auto Group. “We have two major indoor ride attractions, and virtually ever display has some sort of interactive display the kids can enjoy this year. Not only do children 15 and under get in for free on Family Day, parking is always free for the duration of the Show, courtesy of your franchised new vehicle dealers.”

Camp Jeep and the Ram Truck Territory Indoor Track Experience reprise their roles as two family favorites at this year’s Show. Ride along as professional drivers put Jeep and Ram trucks through a series of obstacles that include the 18-foot tall Jeep Mountain. There are height restrictions for both of these rides, but there’s also the Jeep Kids Course for the little ones to enjoy nearby. Camp Jeep also features the Jeep Rock Climb where children can test their skills.

Throughout the Cleveland Auto Show, you’ll find interactive displays that are both fun and educational. At the Dodge display you’ll be able to get behind the wheel and test your skills on a simulated hot lap behind the wheel of a muscle car on the Dodge Challenger Challenge. The Honda’s VR Motion simulator allows you to experience a virtual reality test drive in the new Honda Civic Si.

While you’re at the Show, don’t forget to register to win a new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Premier, the Official Giveaway Vehicle of the Cleveland Auto Show. All you have to do to be eligible to win is to register at the Official Giveaway Booth. Finalists are picked every day of the Show, and are invited back the last day for the grand Finale, when one person will take home the 2017 Cruze Premier as the Grand Prize of the Show.

If you want more details on the contest, head to clevelandautoshow.com. You’ll also be able to beat the line and buy tickets on line with no upcharge courtesy of Huntington Bank.

While you’re at the Official Vehicle Giveaway Booth, take the kids over to the Cleveland Auto Show’s Coloring Contest. Children create their own artwork and compete in three different age groups. The winners take home a signed Kevin Love jersey.

We’ve actually saved the best for last. This year, the LEGO Batmobile from the new LEGO Batman movie will be in the Chevrolet display every day of the Show. It’s a must see if you’re visiting on Family Day. This life-sized vehicle is 17 feet long, almost seven feet high and over nine feet wide. It’s built from more than 344,000 LEGO bricks using 17 different colors.

Those are but a few of the family attractions at the Cleveland Auto Show this year. If you’re seriously in the market for a new family vehicle, Family Day is also a great time to get everyone’s opinion.

With more than 1,000 concepts, pre-production vehicles and new vehicles on display, the Cleveland Auto Show, presented by AutoTrader.com marks the start of the automotive spring selling season in Northern Ohio. Held annually at the I-X Center, the Cleveland Auto Show is considered one of the top five auto shows in the nation and is rated as one of the strongest in the nation in terms of influencing its impact on a regional market.
