The recruitment, selection, and hiring process is the first and perhaps most important element in the employer-employee relationship.  The hiring process also contains crucial elements that can spark employment related claims.  Both statutory laws and court decisions have grown to the point where all pieces of the recruitiment and hiring process are a breeding ground for litigation.  A dealer can risk legal exposure whenever any of the recruitment and hiring practices deny employment opportunities to a disproportionate amount of legally protected individuals.  Also in an increasingly competitive dealership environment, effective recruitment, selection and hiring practices can be both a survival and performance issue.  Training for managers directly responsible for the interviewing and hiring process is conducted regularly for dealership staff.
