Cleveland Sports Legends, National Champion
Buckeyes, Browns and Cavs Visit the Cleveland Auto Show
Cleveland, OH (February 27, 2015) – The cars are not the only stars coming to the 2015 Cleveland Auto Show. The Show will also welcome National Champion Ohio State Buckeye Football players, Cleveland Sports Legends, Cleveland Browns football stars and Cavaliers Big Man Timofey Mozgov during the Show’s nine-day run.
The Cleveland Auto Show presented by AutoTrader.com opens to the public on Saturday, March 7 and runs through Sunday, March 15 at the I-X Center in Cleveland.
On Sunday, March 8, meet Cavalier Big Man Timofey Mozgov who will be signing autographs in the Kia display from 2 to 3 p.m. The Center joined the Cavaliers just this year, and is sure to play a pivotal role in the team’s championship run.
On Monday, March 9, Cleveland Browns Isaiah Crowell and Head Coach Mike Pettine will be in the Ford display from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Representing the future of the Cleveland Browns offense, Crowell signed as an undrafted free agent last year, but quickly became a fan favorite due to his smash mouth, slashing running style.
On Tuesday, March 10, join the Cleveland Auto Show in welcoming National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes Steve Miller, Jeff Heuerman and Evan Spencer to the Show. The trio will be in the Ram display from 6 to 8 p.m.
In what was the most historic ending to a Buckeye season, Ohio State rocked the collegiate sports world, winning the Big 10, defeating SEC Champion and perennial favorite Alabama, before manhandling Oregon to win the first Undisputed National Collegiate Football Championship.
On Wednesday, March 11, the Cleveland Auto Show welcomes Cleveland Sports Legends. Kenny Lofton, Clay Matthews and Campy Russell will sign autographs in the Honda display from 7 to 9 p.m. These three sports legends represent the very best of Cleveland sports, with the Indians, Browns and Cavaliers.
At the Ford display that same day, visit with former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Bernie Kosar as he greets Auto Show attendees from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
On Thursday, March 12, hard-hitting Cleveland Browns defensive players Barkevious Mingo and Donte Whitner visit the Ford display from 6:00 to 8 p.m. to greet fans. While the Browns improved overall last year, the defense shined. Mingo had 29 solo tackles including two sacks, while Whitner led the team with 69 solo tackles.
In addition to more than 750 new concept, pre-production, and production vehicles in more than one million square-feet of exhibit space, this year’s Cleveland Auto Show also includes a whole slate of family fun and entertainment. Additional celebrity appearances may be announced closer to the Show. You can check an up-to-date celebrity appearance schedule on the show’s Facebook page.
Tickets for the Cleveland Auto Show are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free. Parking is free for the duration of the Show, courtesy of your franchised new motor vehicle dealers.
The Cleveland Auto Show is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you would like more information on the Show, or to purchase e-tickets with no convenience charges courtesy of Huntington Bank, head to www.clevelandautoshow.com and click on “Buy Tickets”.
