Danielle Bandza of Akron wins the Grand Prize,
A 2015 Hyundai Sonata at the Cleveland Auto Show
Cleveland, OH (March 16, 2015) – The excitement in the air was palpable as nine finalists assembled on the last day of the Cleveland Auto Show awaiting the Grand Finale drawing on Sunday, March 15. With the Grand Prize, a brand new 2015 Hyundai Sonata supplied by the Northeast Ohio Hyundai Dealers at stake, each of the nine finalists was given a key at random and invited to try and open the door.
In the end, it was Danielle Bandza of Akron whose key opened the door. She took home the 2015 Sonata as the Grand Prize of the Cleveland Auto Show.
“This is awesome, I’m super excited right now and very thankful!” said Bandza, after her key opened the door of the 2015 Sonata. “Every year I come to the Cleveland Auto Show with my dad, and this year, I won a car!”
“I’d like to thank the Northern Ohio Hyundai dealers and all the finalists for coming back to the Show today to participate in this exciting event,” said Louis A. Vitantonio, president of the Cleveland Auto Show. “There’s no better way to put the exclamation point on a successful 2015 Cleveland Auto Show than to give away a brand new vehicle at the end of the Show.”
In addition to the Grand Prize winner, Lila Abrams-Fitzpatrick of Cleveland was selected as the lucky First Prize winner. She took home one year’s worth of free natural gas for the home, a $2,000 value, courtesy of IGS Energy.
The Cleveland Auto Show closed its doors at the I-X Center Sunday evening, March 15 at 8 p.m., following a very successful nine-day run that saw major news events at the Show, including: the appearance of the Ford GT Supercar; the North American introduction of the brand new Z71 Trail Boss edition of the Chevrolet Colorado; an announcement from Ford that it will increase production at the Cleveland Engine Plant, and the first ever Rubber City Classic Car Auction, which drew record crowds on Saturday.
