Last Chance - GHS Training Teleconference Scheduled
What: As dealers know, OSHA’s HAZCOM standard has been revised to align with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). The new GHS regulations have staggered implementation dates, but the first and most important requirement for dealerships falls on December 1, 2013. By December 1, 2013 dealership employees must be trained on the new labels and Safety Data Sheets under GHS.
GCADA’s online and in-person HAZCOM training have included the required GHS regulations since January 1, 2013 so if you have done your online refresher or in-person training since that date, your training requirement is satisfied. For those who have yet to complete this training or those who are unsure if they have completed it, GCADA is offering this special 30-minute teleconference as a last chance for dealership employees to receive this required training.
Topics to be discussed include:
- GHS regulations that apply to Dealerships
- New training requirements
- MSDS vs. SDS
- New labeling requirements and what to look for
- Compliance tracking
When: Thursday, November 21, 2013 11:00am-11:30am
Who: All fixed operations personnel
Registration: Training materials and dial-in instructions will be sent via email upon receiving your registration.
